Peskov denied that the Kremlin was discussing peace deals with European politicians over the war in Ukraine.
The Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, said that the deputy head of Putin’s administration, Dmitry Kozak, is not contacting European politicians to persuade them to sign some kind of peace agreements about in the war in Ukraine. This was reported by RBC.
“No, no one is talking about it. If I understand correctly, there are some messages, but they are about another person with the surname Kozak,” said Peskov.
It was previously reported that Russia is open to a “dialogue” on the issue of the war in Ukraine, but Kyiv reportedly needs to take into account “new territorial realities.”
As Peskov said, Russia will not accept Ukraine’s peace plan if it does not consider the occupation of Crimea and parts of four other Ukrainian regions by Russian troops.
