NATO countries provide political and practical support to Ukraine, which continues to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for more support for Ukraine. On Sunday, January 8, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
He also warned that Russia’s underestimation could have “serious consequences for security in the Scandinavian region.”
At the same time, Stoltenberg noted that for the world “even more important” is the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO.
“I am sure that ‘soon we will welcome’ Sweden and Finland to the Alliance,” Stoltenberg said on the sidelines of the Folk och Försvar security conference in Selena, Sweden.
According to Stoltenberg, Germany and other NATO countries should continue to provide arms to Ukraine – this is the fastest way to peace.
We remind you, earlier the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, said that Sweden and Finland will become members of NATO before the end of 2023.
