Thanks to the immediate restoration of the network, the power supply limits are brought to all regions every day.
The drones launched by Russia on the territory of Ukraine cause enormous damage to the Ukrainian energy system, as they accurately target energy facilities. This was announced on Friday, January 6, by Dmitry Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, on the air of the national marathon.
“As practice has shown, drones, although small in size, cause enormous damage because they hit accurately and lead to fires that completely destroy both transformers,” said Sakharuk.
He noted that after each new attack by drones, it becomes more difficult to restore the destroyed lines.
At the same time, he pointed out that power engineers are trying to respond to the emergency as soon as possible and restore the electricity supply to the grid.
“Thanks to the restoration, taking into account the last drone attack on January 2, now all regions are given daily electricity supply limits, distributed in proportion to regional consumption, according to these limits, it is possible to ensure planned power outages,” said Sakharuk.
He also warned that due to the coming frosts, the power supply could be disrupted.
Remember, according to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal, Ukrainians should be prepared for the continuation of emergency power outages.
In addition, electricity consumption is growing in Ukraine. In this regard, Ukrenergo urged to conserve electricity.
Earlier it was reported that the weather in the capital will be more complicated: rain with sleet on Friday will be replaced by frost on Saturday.
