Exports from Ukraine in March fell by 52.4%

The main reason for the decline was exports of food products, which dropped by 54.7% mainly due to the decline in grain exports (by 53.5%).

Exports of goods from Ukraine in March 2022 due to the conflict dropped by 52.4% compared to the same period last year. Imports dropped by 65.2%. This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.

It was noted that the volume of exports of goods reached 2.3 billion dollars. The main reason for the decline was exports of food products, which dropped by 54.7% mainly due to the decline in grain exports (by 53.5%).

As for the import of goods, its volumes reached $ 2 billion.

Also, the NBU reported that the volume of energy imports increased by 4.5%, while the volume of non-energy imports decreased by 75.9%.

It was previously reported that exports of agricultural products in March reached $ 842 million compared to $ 1.9 billion last year, but the actual result was actually lower.
