Occupiers speed up issuance of Russian passports in Donetsk region – General Staff

The term for obtaining a Russian document on the acquired Gorlovka was reduced from 30 to ten days.

The occupiers forcefully incorporate the temporarily occupied territories into the legal sphere of the Russian Federation. This was announced on January 5 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In the city of Gorlovka, Donetsk region, the period for issuing Russian-style passports has been reduced from 30 to 10 days,” the report said.

In addition, the region issues license plates and sample driver’s licenses of the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that in the Luhansk region the occupiers started a forced process of acquiring Russian citizenship of children. Also, civil servants are forced to write “applications” for renouncing Ukrainian citizenship.
