Russia is preparing a new wave of aggression in the war against Ukraine. This was announced on Wednesday, January 4, by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message.
He noted that he pointed this out in phone conversations with Western partners.
“I want to thank Denmark today – after the conversation with Prime Minister Frederiksen. I informed him about the current situation on the front line, that Russia is now planning another wave of aggression in the coming months. We must make this wave last – there is no chance for revenge for the terrorists,” said the president.
The President noted the high level of cooperation with Romania – political, economic and defense: “We have done a lot together to protect the Black Sea region. I am sure that this year we will do even more.”
The President also thanked France for providing the tanks.
“It is precisely before the new Ramstein that such a signal is very relevant. We must end the aggression of Russia this year and not postpone any of the defense capabilities that can accelerate the defeat of a terrorist state. The modern Western armored vehicles, Western-style tanks are just one of the main opportunities,” the president said.
Note that the United States is about to announce a new military aid package to Ukraine to repel a full-scale Russian invasion.
