On social networks, residents of Sevastopol report explosions at Cape Fiolent

Witnesses reported that there was a flash first, followed by a loud bang. After that, the fire started on Fiolent.

Explosions rang out near Cape Fiolent near temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Eyewitnesses are also reporting the fire. On Wednesday, January 4, local Telegram channels report.

Information about the explosion with a flash appeared around 22.48.

The Telegram channel of Operative ZSU reported that the explosion in Fiolent was domestic – a gas cylinder allegedly exploded and burned in SNT “Forget-Me-Not”. Local rescuers said the construction trailer was completely burned, one person is known to have died.

Remember that Cape Fiolent is located on the Herakleian Peninsula, on the southwestern coast of Crimea, in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol, 350 km from Kherson.

Earlier, information appeared on social networks about explosions near the Belbek military airport. Residents of Sevastopol heard “pops” in the areas of Fruit and Soldier. The city’s “mayor” Razvozhaev said the air defense was working.
