The United States is about to announce a new military aid package to Ukraine to repel a full-scale Russian invasion. John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, said this at a briefing on November 4, Mikhail Komadovsky told the Voice of America correspondent in Twitter.
The new aid package could include additional HIMARS MLRS launchers, Kirby said.
It will be remembered that on December 21, 2022, the US authorities announced the allocation of another package of military aid for a total of $1.85 million. It will include the Patriot missile defense system for the first time.
And on December 23, the US House of Representatives passed a massive $1.7 trillion government funding bill for fiscal year 2023 that includes aid to Ukraine and NATO allies.
