A family of six elephants appeared to have been killed by a lightning strike in a forest near Zimbabwe’s main tourist destination, Victoria Falls (west), a spokesman for the Zimbabwe Wildlife and Parks Authority told EFE on Friday. Zimbabwe (ZimParks).
“We suspect lightning because the tusks were intact,” said Tinashe Faravo, spokeswoman for ZimParks.
