The driver and passenger of the car died at the scene of the accident, another passenger from the same car was hospitalized with injuries. This was reported by the police of the Vinnitsa region.
According to preliminary information from the investigation, a car driven by a 40-year-old resident of the city of Nemirov drove into the oncoming lane on a rounded section of the road, where it collided with a truck.
The driver of the VAZ and one of his passengers, a 38-year-old resident of Nemirov, died. A 31-year-old passenger, also a resident of Nemirov, was hospitalized.
The 53-year-old driver of the DAF car was not injured.
Criminal proceedings have begun.
