The troops of the Russian Federation continue to focus their efforts on conducting offensive operations in the direction of Bakhmut, and are also trying to improve the tactical situation in the directions of Kupyansky, Limansky and Avdeevsky. “During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Belogorivka, Luhansk region and Razdolivka, Belogorivka, Soledar, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Kleschievka, Ozeryanovka , Opytnovove, Krasnogorovka, region,” stressed the Ukrainian military leadership.
It was noted that in the directions of Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye, the enemy is defending the previously occupied lines, and in Kherson, he is regrouping troops and throwing stones at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian objects on the line of collision
In the direction of Volyn, Polessky, Seversk and Slobozhansk, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were found.
Over the past day, the enemy has launched 51 air strikes, including 44 UAVs Shahed-136. All of them were shot by Ukrainian Defense Forces units. Also, the invaders carried out 55 attacks from the MLRS, including on the children’s hospital in Kherson.
“The threat of enemy air and missile strikes on critical infrastructure remains throughout Ukraine,” the General Staff stressed.
Ukrainian aviation delivered 13 strikes on areas where the invaders were concentrated. Subdivisions of rocket troops and artillery hit five areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment in one day.
Remember, on January 1, the Russian Federation lost 106,720 soldiers in Ukraine, as well as 3,031 tanks, 283 aircraft and 269 helicopters.
