The former head of the British government believes that the coming year will be better than the outgoing year.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed confidence in Ukraine’s victory in the war in 2023. On Saturday, December 31, he said in a video message posted on his Twitter page.
“I am more convinced than ever that Vladimir Putin will be defeated in Ukraine and Ukrainians will achieve their destiny of becoming a free, sovereign and independent state,” said the former British prime minister.
He recalled that in 2022, Britain lost its queen, and the world saw the beginning of Europe’s worst war in 80 years.
Speaking about the economy, Johnson noted that inflation will continue to decline, and that China will recover from omicron.
“And overall, 2023 will be a much better year than 2022. Don’t be afraid to dream. Happy New Year!” Johnson said.
Here are my New Years predictions! inflation will continue to decline. China will make up for the omicron. Putin will lose in Ukraine. And, all in all, 2023 will be a vast improvement over 2022. Dare to dream. Happy New Year! pic.twitter.com/qjpR4ropGA
