The head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, expressed his condolences to Rybakov’s relatives.
The deceased “for his achievements” had previously been awarded medals and insignia of the department, the propaganda media said.
They also added that Rybakov was “a combat veteran and a veteran of military service.”
The news agency reported that the deceased Russian conqueror had a wife and two small children.
“A criminal case has been opened on the fact of Rybakov’s death,” the pro-government media assured.
