The head of state awarded the military orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky, For Courage and Daniil Galitsky, as well as medals.
President Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards to 95 servicemen. This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 903/2022.
Thus, Zelensky awarded four defenders with the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytsky II degree, five with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky III degree, five with the Order For Courage of the II degree, 17 with the Order For Courage of the III degree, two with the Order of Daniel Galitsky.
The president also awarded 32 servicemen with medals for military service of Ukraine, four with medals for irreproachable service of the 3rd degree, and 26 defenders with medals for Defender of the Fatherland.
Earlier it was reported that the border guards received award weapons for the destruction of the Russian fighter.
The President also gave awards to the ground soldiers on the occasion of Ground Forces Day.
