The Moldovan president believes that he has nothing to discuss with Russia, which is an aggressor country.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu is sure that she has nothing to discuss with the aggressor country – Russia. He said this in response to a question about whether he plans to travel and meet with Russian authorities, NewsMaker reports.
“I have nothing to discuss with the aggressor country,” she stressed.
The Moldovan leader also commented on the regular attacks by the Russian authorities.
“Unfortunately, these are Russia’s tools: threats, attempts to intimidate other countries. What we see in Ukraine as a whole is very serious. When we were in power, we said we wanted constructive relations in Russia. After this war began what kind of relationship can there be with an aggressor, in a state that kills its neighbors?” – said the leader of Moldova.
As we reported earlier, Sandu called on the international community to increase pressure on the Russian Federation.
In addition, according to Sandu, Moldova should become a member of the European Union before the end of this decade.
