Ukraine “will not ask anyone” for permission on which territory to conduct hostilities, the head of the National Security and Defense Council stressed.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that if necessary, the Ukrainian military can enter the territory of the Russian Federation. He said this on Thursday, December 29, in an interview with the Kyiv Post.
When asked if the Ukrainian army could be on Russian territory to protect Ukraine, he replied: “Yes, definitely. If it is necessary to go where we think it is necessary to protect our country, we will be there.”
Danilov noted that at the same time Ukraine “will not ask anyone” for permission.
“And all these talks that there is no need to annoy someone there is nonsense,” the NSDC secretary said.
Commenting on the possibility of a second aggressor attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region, the Secretary of the NSDC said that Ukraine is preparing for any development of events and not a single direction is left without attention.
Earlier, Danilov said that in the near future Russia will especially “go wild”, but will “burn until Moscow burns.”
Danilov also predicted that the current policy of Russia will lead to the increase of “bavovna” in various Russian cities.
