About two thousand food packages from the Akhmetov Foundation were distributed to the poorest residents, which were taken by the Russians every day.
A shipment of humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has been delivered to the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, which is under constant shelling by the Russian army. The press service of the fund reported this on Thursday, December 29.
“The Donetsk region remains the hottest place on the map of Ukraine. To help people living in the frontline settlements of the region, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation sent another humanitarian shipment to the region. About two thousand packages of food from of the fund was distributed to the most needy residents of the Pokrovsky district, who were exposed to shelling,” the statement said.
Each set consists of the most necessary products: pasta, sugar, salt, flour, cereal, canned beans, stew, pate and cookies.
The fund clarified that since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 148,000 food packages have been given to residents of the Donetsk region, as well as citizens temporarily displaced from the region.
Recall that the previous day, the Akhmetov Foundation delivered almost 2,000 packages of food, as well as special Dutrion Travel Kit tablets for water disinfection, to the Beryslavsky district of the Kherson region.
Before this, IDPs from the Donbass in three regions of Ukraine received heaters from the Akhmetov Humanitarian Foundation.
