Kyiv may return to ‘normal’ blackout schedules – Yasno

The situation in Kyiv’s energy system is stabilizing. Outages are becoming more predictable thanks to the incredible work of power engineers.

Kyiv may soon return to “normal” power outage schedules, Yasno CEO Sergei Kovalenko said.

“First of all, colleagues see that the situation in Kyiv’s energy system is stabilizing. Outages are becoming more predictable, thanks to the incredible work of power engineers. I hope that we can return to the schedules in near future . You feel it yourself,” he wrote on Facebook.

He also mentioned that for the future, everything we know about the use of electrical appliances must be put into practice. Especially when preparing for vacation.

“We must use electricity responsibly so that there are no distortions in the supply. Especially – do not plug everything into the outlet in the first 15 minutes after they give light,” Kovalenko wrote.

The electricity situation in Kyiv remains difficult. Emergency shutdowns continue, and in these conditions the people of Kiev will live through the winter.
