On December 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky traditionally addressed the Ukrainians. He spoke about the next meeting of the Supreme Commander’s Headquarters.
This meeting is the 44th this year. During this, they discussed the situation near Bakhmut, Kremennaya and the Donbass in general. On the subject, enemy actions in the eastern direction are also possible.
The President said that at the meeting they heard the commanders and decided on the steps in the near future. The defense and security forces are preparing for next year.
“This week will be important for Ukraine from a political point of view. We are entering next year and must maintain a common understanding of our national goals,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
One of the most important tasks for the next year, the president called the liberation of our land from the enemy, as well as the restoration of Ukraine, the return of our people to the home and further rapprochement of the state with the main partners.
“Opening new opportunities for Ukraine to the world is a task for the near future. And not only for the state, but for each of us. Soon I will present my vision on the implementation of tasks this in the annual message of the Verkhovna Rada on the external and internal situation of Ukraine I want this message is not a report, but our conversation with you about the next year,” said the president.
Zelensky also thanked all those who fought for our independence, all units of the defense forces that brought the defeat of the enemy closer.
It can be remembered that Zelensky previously estimated the Italian government’s allocation of an additional 10 million euros in aid to Ukraine’s air defense.
