Skies remain cloudy north of the English Channel to the Seine. Unlike the previous day, on Friday, September 9, the weather was dry in a significant part of the republic. The trend still alternates between cloudy episodes and clearings. Temperatures are seasonal, but strong gusts of 50 to 70 km/h are expected in Normandy and Eau de France, according to the Weather Channel*.
As on the previous day, the British depression in the North Sea brings an unstable flow from the west and southwest over the limited northern half of France. The weather is unstable with the wind and the feeling is fresh. In the south, the weather is more pleasant, especially in the Alps to the Mediterranean, where the sun will be present.
From Normandy to Eau de France, in the morning there are sometimes heavy rains. These precipitations are accompanied by gusts of wind with a speed of 50 to 70 km/h. The afternoon will see changeable weather with alternating sunny and cloudy skies with rain. The air temperature in the morning is 13 to 15°C, and in the afternoon it is 18-21°C.
From Brittany and the Pays de la Loire to the Center Val de Loire, the sky also changes. There are frequent downpours followed by cloudiness. A thunderstorm is possible in the area. Winds are gusting to 50 km/h as rains pass. The air temperature in the morning is 13 to 15°C, and in the afternoon it is 18-22°C.
From Ile de France to Grand Est, the morning calm is only temporary. The weather is in line with the rest of France, becoming unsettled in the afternoon with clearings and cloud cover accompanied by showers, locally accompanied by a few thunderstorms. In Alsace, the risk of rain will be less with prevailing clearings. The air temperature in the morning is 12-15°C, and in the afternoon – 19-23°C.
From Burgundy-Franche-Comte to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Here, too, the weather is mixed with variable cloudiness and good weather. In Burgundy and northern Auvergne, showers are possible in the afternoon. Temperatures range from 10 to 15°C in the morning and 19 to 27°C during the day, from Morvan to the middle Rhone Valley.
From New Aquitaine to Occitania, The morning is mostly cloudy in Aquitaine and near the Pyrenees. The sky is clear towards the Lion’s Bay. A slight chance of showers remains New Aquitaine. The air temperature in the morning is 11 to 18°C, and in the afternoon – 21-28°C.
From the PACA region to Corsica, the weather is summer with plenty of sunshine. Clouds don’t last long in the sky. A moderate west to southwest wind blows between the Var coast and Corsica. The air temperature in the morning is 16 to 21°C, and in the afternoon – 27-31°C.
