Bouches-du-Rhone. The 5-year-old girl drowned in Berry pond.

On the evening of Tuesday, August 9, a five-year-old girl drowned in the pond of Ber (Bouche-du-Rhone). Provence . She was on an inflatable buoy with another seven-year-old girl when the current overturned their boat and swept them out to sea. The accident happened near Jai beach in Marinyan city.

At 19:00, an alarm was received, and the fire-rescue team was mobilized without delay, swimming to search for the victims. The larger of the two was found more than 500 meters from shore and then brought ashore for CPR. He was taken to the hospital unconscious, where his life is no longer in danger.

The second, five years old, remained uninteresting. It was a diver from SDIS 13 who finally found the girl’s body about a kilometer from the beach. Despite several heart massages, firefighters were unable to revive him.
