Figaro’s letter of July 12, 2022

Dear readers,

As for purchasing power, the opponents are not short of ideas. Since yesterday, the new five-year period has really started in the parliament, with the texts on purchasing power presented by the government (bill on purchasing power and financial amendment bill). 600 amendments submitted by the opposition. When we say they have imagination, we’re not lying, between VAT cuts, oil taxes or price freezes. For a tidy sum of €100 billion when all these ideas come together. We will discuss a little more in the National Assembly, knowing that the majority said that they are ready to make compromises.

Today we celebrate Olivier and the other Olivia. Don’t forget them. And good day.
