The owners of the building of the University, located on Universitetsky Prospekt in the district of St. San MiguelThey stated that two subjects entered the area to steal firefighting equipment worth 20,000 soles.
Through a WhatsApp group, they learned that the 20-story building had been broken into by people from outside the premises and 18 of them had been robbed.
Protective equipment such as hoses, fire extinguishers, water pumps, and other essential items to deal with types of fires were adopted.
Astonishingly, the building’s security system did not detect anyone outside who could take these tools. When the owners said they were going to file a complaint with the press, the people in charge of security showed the security cameras.
“They also tried to take away water pumps, manipulated the doors, apparently with a goat’s foot, stole the keys to apartments that have not yet been sold,” said one of the homeowners. News RPP.
“Security personnel have just informed us that they have found several videos that show that they do not own the equipment,” he added.
As can be seen in the images, the two subjects enter the building with no problem, while another camera shows that they leave by car without problem through the garage.
This complaint will be forwarded to the National Police of Peru to be aware of the robbery and to the building administration to locate the thieves.
