National Police agents detain two suspects of involvement in the robbery and murder of a taxi driver David Pedraza Hurtado (aged 30), found dead a few days after his family reported him missing.
The detainees were identified as Jeremias Joaquin Vasquez D Nestor Rivera Espinoza, both with a history of robbery and vehicle theft. The two remain at the La Victoria police station pending their legal status.
This arrest came six days after the body of David Pedraza Hurtado, the young father of a family, was found in Villa Maria del Triunfo.TDC).
Third party involved
In dialogue with RPP NewsChief of the Lima Police Station, PNP General Manuel Losada Moralesindicated that there is a third, allegedly involved in the robbery and murder David Pedraza Hurtado.
“If he drives a vehicle as a result of a criminal act, how does he drive it? It can be directly related or be the author. This is part of the police investigation,” he said.
“We are behind him, we must capture him. If he is innocent, he must go to the National Police to take his statement and he will be guaranteed (due right) by a public ministry representative,” he added.
High Command reported that this third suspect has been identified as Jesus Chavez Medrano.
