A white van containing three helium balloons exploded this afternoon in front of a famous la union market, located in block 15 on José Carlos Mariategui Avenue in San Juan de Lurigancho. As a result of this incident, two people were injured and several businesses were damaged by the explosion.
RPP Noticias was able to learn that the driver of the vehicle had arrived at the location to go to one of the places selling piñatas and balloons. The cause of the explosion is being investigated by the National Police, and surveillance cameras in the area will help as they captured the exact moment of the explosion of the car, when several of its parts flew into the air.
A man who makes a living servicing cars in the area and a woman were the ones affected after the explosion in Saint John Lurigancho. Shopping arcade located on the second floor la union market they ended with the windows being broken.

“I was sitting working at my job when I suddenly felt an explosion that was too strong. At that point, I went into shock,” said a worker named Dacey, who sells mobile phone accessories and whose business has been the hardest hit. . . .
