Minor parents applying to San Marcos National Mayoral University (UNAMS) condemned that they did not allow their children to take entrance exams with an identity document (IDENTIFIER) yellow.
In addition, they indicated that in order to ensure the safety of the campus, young applicants must have a Certificate of Acceptance (C4), issued by Renets. But the agency clarified, according to the parents, that the execution of this document is for adults.
Raul Yamoja, the novice’s father, pointed to RPP News She is not allowed to take the entrance exam because she has an expired yellow ID card.
“She is still underage. I wanted to get C4 here, but they don’t let me. It’s not there, even in Reniec itself, they don’t want to give it to me, because she has to get it in advance. But she now has an identity card,” he said.
“They have an expired ID, we want C4, but they won’t let us. They don’t want to give C4 to minors. We paid 800 soles and the boys are crying at the door,” added another candidate mother.
“They entered with a yellow ID”
Rector UNAMSJerry Ramon, confirmed that today teenagers with yellow id expired so that they could take the expected entrance exam, but were warned that for the next tests, if they did not bring C4, applicants would not be able to enter the campus.

“It’s true that they can’t get it, but their parents can get it, so for the next exams, if they don’t bring C4, the document that parents should get, it will be a problem and students won’t be able to enter,” he said.
Heri Ramon explained that the requirement yellow id or the C4 document has already been listed on the site UNAMS to pass the entrance test.
“Those who went through door number 1 and door number 3 entered, they were allowed in until 8:30, and those who came after 8:30 were not allowed. there is no updated document and they were forced to enter everything without exception,” he said.
UNAMIS statement
UNASM has advised that applicants for the 2023-II entrance exam who have reached the age of majority with an expired DNI must bring a C4 or proof of processing request in addition to the applicant card.
“Underage applicants with an expired DNI must bring a C4 of father, mother or binding custody (must be a simple power of attorney) plus their respective applicant card,” he wrote in the application.
He also clarified that the announced measures will only apply for the exam on Sunday, March 26, as the current General Admissions Rules will strictly apply for the following dates, April 1 and 2.
