Three criminals with an armed hand robbed a minimarket and wounded the administrator of an establishment located on Manuel Prado Avenue, in the Carabayllo district.
The thieves took about a thousand soles, the product of a day’s wages, in addition to the mobile phones of workers and a client.
The convenience store’s surveillance cameras caught two criminals entering, posing as shoppers. One of them pulls out money to ostensibly pay for the purchase, while the other pulls out a firearm and points it straight at the two women behind the counter.
At this point, the manager tries to protect the workers from taking the money, but he is shot dead.
The third intruder, who stood at the door of the store as a “bell”, took the opportunity to attack the customer of the minimarket.
Fifth time robbed
All images inside the commercial establishment were delivered to the Peruvian National Police. However, the shop owner says the police are not doing their job properly, as experts have pointed out the need for CCTV footage from outside the shop, otherwise the case will not proceed.
The owner of the minimarket chose not to disclose his identity for fear of reprisals, and claims to have been the victim of a crime for the fifth time.
