Fatima’s mother, a four-year-old patient, told RPP News that there is no cure for your daughter’s chemotherapy.
“My husband is inside with my hospitalized daughter. He says that she will not be given arsenic trioxide yet, because there is no Atra. First, they give the daughter to take Atra, and after four hours they begin to put arsenic trioxide. on her arsenic through a vein. Do you mean she won’t get Atra today? And my daughter is in danger. If she is not given arsenic trioxide, my daughter may die,” he said.
Jocelyn, the mother of an eight-year-old patient, indicated that her son also denied the existence of Atra.
“My son had a relapse due to procedures, EsSalud didn’t want to give me slots. Now my son has a relapse and because he is allergic to asparaginase chemo, he has to get ervinia chemo, which is not available, and since it is not available, they don’t put him in. The scheme is designed for a month, and this is an incomplete scheme. With a bone marrow aspirate to be done if the bone marrow continues, my son is being evicted for lack of chemotherapy,” he said.
The mother of the family claimed that it would take three months to buy the medicine and that the doctor had recommended that she buy the medicine to help her son.
“I ask him how much does it cost? 15 thousand salts per bottle, I need to buy 16 bottles. Even my base salary does not cover all this,” he complained.
