Microsoft announced that it will completely remove the browser internet explorer, that he began to be gradually suppressed a few months ago, on February 14, and that he will do so through an update edge.

However, as stated in a recent announcement, Microsoft will permanently disable the desktop web browser on some Windows 10 systems that currently support it.

Microsoft indicated that this change was made to “provide a better user experience and help organizations transition their last remaining IE11 users to edge”, according to the manufacturer.

Organizations that have already made this transition from Explorer to edge in explorer mode, they will remain unchanged after February 14th. For those who wish to remove visual links from Explorer in edgesuch as the taskbar or the start menu must be disabled by February 14th.

Finally, Microsoft warned companies that if they become dependent on any of the services available in IE11, they must take steps to complete the transition to edge before the specified date.
