The study report, including the findings, will be published in the middle of next year – 2023.
The US space agency NASA has started independent research on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and phenomena. Live Science writes about it.
The study will continue over the next nine months with a group of 16 leaders coming from all cutting-edge industries, including aerospace executives, astrophysicists and even former astronauts.
The plan was to collect as much data as possible on recorded sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena known as UAPs.
“Understanding available data on undetected atmospheric phenomena is crucial to draw scientific conclusions about processes in the sky. We will consider open source data collected by civilians, government officials and private company. This data relates to any phenomena that do not fall under the definition of natural phenomena or conventional aircraft,” NASA said.
Meanwhile, NASA says that the UAP phenomena are not related to aliens. According to the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s 2021 report, the most likely explanations of the UAP are:
-
airborne debris such as birds and wolves;
-
atmospheric phenomena, such as ice crystals;
-
secret government projects;
-
technologies used by China, Russia, another state or non-governmental organization.
Recall that earlier, scientists from China recorded repeated rapid radio bursts – mysterious signals coming from a source, perhaps at a distance of three billion light-years from Earth.
In China, the signs of an alien civilization were obtained
