France’s CrowdSec is trying out collaborative cyber defense

Only unity is strength. This could be the slogan of the French cyber security company CrowdSec, which is betting on a different approach to respond to the proliferation of computer attacks. If organizations instead of fighting an army of hackers alone in their corner, they played the network effect to weaken them. To protect open networks on the Internet, CrowdSec has developed a “collaborative” intrusion prevention system.
