It is indicated that the satellites were launched at 06:55 Beijing time (01:55 Kyiv time – ed.) using the Kuaizhou-1A launch vehicle (Bystyy Cheln-1A) and successfully launched into the specified orbits.
Shiyan-14 will be used mainly for scientific experiments and testing of new technologies, while Shiyan-15 will be used for geological reconnaissance survey, urban planning, and disaster prevention and response.
For the Kuaizhou-1A launch vehicle, this flight is the 18th in a row.
