The satellite will send images that will record changes on the Earth’s surface.
On Thursday, September 15, Rocket Lab’s Electron booster sent the Strix-1 communications satellite into Earth orbit. Space.com reported it.
The launch was conducted from the company’s New Zealand site on the North Island’s Mahia Peninsula. This is the 30th launch for the booster.
The satellite was launched into its intended orbit at an altitude of 563 kilometers above Earth approximately 53 minutes after launch.
It is noted that this satellite will transmit images in which it is possible to detect millimeter-level changes on the Earth’s surface from space, regardless of the weather conditions on Earth and at any time of the day or night.
Earlier it was reported that scientists in Kyiv saw many unknown flying objects.
