The galaxy is unlike many objects in space that Hubble has previously photographed.
The Hubble Space Telescope photographed the dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 1156, which is 25 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Aries. This is reported by ESA.
It was found that the space object is also classified as isolated, meaning that there are no other galaxies nearby that could affect its unique shape and continued star formation.
The energy of young stars gives the galaxy its color against the red background of ionized hydrogen gas, while its center is filled with older generation stars.
It was previously reported that Hubble took an image of the globular cluster NGC 6540 in the constellation Sagittarius.
