It is specifically created for use in natural disasters for closing blockages. Production protection is planned to start in early 2029.
There are four organizations in Japan, including Murata Manuapacturing, Vasheda University, TMSUK Robotics Company and the SRE Holdings Technical Company, have announced a joint project to create a large humanoid rescue robot. According to Kyodo News, the project aims to not only develop a unique device, but also the restoration of Japan’s leading positions to robotics in the world.
All the components of the future robot – from sensors to accurate devices – will be made exclusively in Japan. The device will have a height of about three meters, weigh 300 kilograms, can move at a speed of up to 5 km/h and lift more than 100 kilograms. It is particularly created for use in natural disasters – in response to the country’s demographic challenges and the high probability of natural disasters.
“We want to create a robot that will be stronger than one person and can clear the trash can,” TMSuk Yoiti Takamoto said at a conference by the end of June.
Today in the world there is no single humanoid robot that can replace a person with the real surgery of the rescue. This is the niche that Japanese companies expect to go ahead.
As part of the new project, developers plan to create a prototype before the end of 2026, and launch mass labor until March 2029.
We will remind you, earlier that the surgeon’s robots were reported to be the first time they were able to carry out the operations.
They will sell a humanoid robot in China
