Researchers have found caves on the Moon where the temperature is always about the same and acceptable for humans.
NASA scientists have discovered sinkholes on the moon that can be used for building lunar bases, as the temperature there is always comfortable around 17 degrees Celsius. This was reported by the press service of NASA.
Researchers believe that such caves may provide some protection from cosmic rays, solar radiation and micrometeorites. Because, usually the surface of the Moon heats up to 127 degrees Celsius during the day, and at night the temperature drops to minus 173 degrees Celsius.
In total, there are about 16 failures in the Earth’s satellite, which are collapsed lava tubes, they were first recorded in 2009. Their diameter is from 15 to 150 meters and they are mainly located in the sea of the moon
It is noted that lava tubes are also found on Earth, they are formed when molten lava flows under a field of cooled lava, leaving a long, hollow tunnel.

It was previously reported that an unknown rocket, which NASA has been tracking in Earth’s orbit since 2015, crashed on the moon.
