The Openai Video Generator can now be used for free – earlier it is only available in paid customers Openai.
Microsoft announced the launch of the Bing video creator – a new Bing application tool, which gives you to create a video from text hints using the Sora model from Openai. This is the first time that accessing Sora’s capabilities is free of charge -before it is only available for Paid Openai customers.
To use a new function, you need to enter the Microsoft account. Initially, each user gets the opportunity to create 10 videos for free, after which for each new video you will need to pay 100 points of Microsoft Rewards. These points can be accumulated using Bing to search or buy products at the Microsoft Store. For example, a search on a PC carries 5 points -with a sun -day limit of 150 points.
The video was formed in the vertical format 9:16, which is probably dedicated to newspapers on Tiktok or Instagram. However, in the near future the company’s plan to add horizontal support support.
At the time of launch, the Bing video creator is only available through a mobile application. Even in “Fast” mode, the video generation can take a lot of time, though it is stated that this mode should work within minutes. Users can simultaneously put up to three videos that last 5 seconds. It is impossible to change the duration.
Noteworthy, the operation of this generation is not yet available to Microsoft Copilot, the main assistant based on artificial intelligence, which works both on Windows and Office. It’s a little strange, but maybe Microsoft just wants to increase Bing’s popularity.
