Space Epoch Chinese Missile Startup (SEPOCH) successfully conducted the first test of the available missile of Yuanxingzhe-1 (Xzy-1) in China with an engine in liquid oxygen and methane. The company reported this on Thursday, May 29th.
The launch was conducted from the Sea Cosmodrome on the coast of the city of Khayan in the province of Shandun east of the PRC.
A stainless steel rocket is 26.8 meters high and has a diameter of 4.2 meters and weighs 57 tons initially, making a 125-second flight. It reaches a height of about 2.5 km during a full -thrust height. Next, the rocket hangs above the sea and gently falls into a vertical position in the water.
A flight data review confirmed that the rocket worked normally throughout the trial, and experts announced that the landing was successful.
