China announced the creation of the world’s first autonomous agent AI

In China, the first autonomous agent of the world of artificial intelligence called the manus has been shown, Intersting Engineering reports.

Unlike chat bots, such as Chatgpt or Gemini from Google or Grok, which requires human participation for tasks, the manus is able to unite solutions and perform complex tasks without interruption.

Instead of using only an AI model, the manus acts as an implementation, controlling some specialized subagents. It allows him to be able to cope with the complex, multi -step working processes.

Moreover, the AI-Agent can work without hope, that is, it performs background activities and only informs users when the results are ready, without constant human control.

This is a significant step in developing AI technologies, as most current systems require constant contact with people to perform simple tasks. On the other hand, Manus, may be able to unite and perform processes that will open up new opportunities and challenges to issues of changing jobs and responsibilities.

Some experts believe that the manus’s appearance challenges a narrative that the United States is an unconditional leader in developing advanced AI. This indicates that China is caught and is likely to be reached by developing real AI agents.
