Google introduces AI mode – a search mode that works like a chat boot similar to ChatGPT, and generates answers based on the Google search index. According to the company, they do not plan to replace the former search with new ones – they are separate.
The system operates on the basis of the custom version of AI Gemini 2.0, which initially came out on January 30 this year. Therefore, the regime is a useful for questions that require additional study, comparison and refinement. Users can receive answers to complex questions, to find answers that will need many requests. The system will provide detailed answers with links to resources.
The operation is in the test phase, so it is possible that the answers will not be objective and will look like a particular person’s view point.
