Doctors in Lviv performed kidney retransplantation surgery, of which his parents became donors.
Doctors from the Western Ukrainian Children’s Specialized Medical Center and specialists from the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital for the first time successfully performed kidney transplant surgery for a 14 -year -old boy.
This was reported in the online publication Pravda HERE.
The teenager was brought from Krivoy Rog who was in serious condition, where the previously moved stone had stopped functioning normally.
“She was transferred to a child a year and a half from her father. Now her mother gave her organ to the man,” they said on the page.
They also clarified that the donor and recipient are feeling well and are under the supervision of doctors.
