The irregular galaxy UGC 5829 is located about 30 million light years from our planet.
The Hubble Space Telescope captured the irregular galaxy UGC 5829, which is 30 million light-years from Earth. This was reported by the ESA Observatory.
Although there aren’t many observations of this galaxy, it has a special descriptive nickname: the Spider Galaxy. Curved galactic arms with glowing tips forming stars, reminiscent of spider legs.
In addition, this galaxy has several different names in different catalogs. For example, in the Lyon-Meudon Extragalactic Database it is called LEDA 31923, in the Morphological Catalog of Galaxies it is called MCG+06-24-006, and in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey catalog it is called SDSS J104242.78+342657.3 .
It should be noted that there is another galaxy with a similar, but still different name. This is known as the “web galaxy”. The space object is located approximately 300 times farther from Earth than the galaxy UGC 5829.
Hubble was previously reported to have photographed the galaxy NGC 4423, located about 55 million light years away in the constellation Virgo.
