Three young Peruvians graduated Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) created a platform called xplain which uses artificial intelligence offer free and paid educational services.

The goal of this project is to provide quality education to the largest number of Peruvians, even those who do not have the resources to access it.

How it works?

The founders are Raul Alcantara, a world champion in mathematics, who received a scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he graduated in computer science; Gyalpo Dongo, also on an undergraduate scholarship in artificial intelligence at MIT, has worked as a researcher at Oxford and Imperial Colleges and as a computer engineer at Oracle; in addition to Oscar Clemente, a professional with a full scholarship in business administration from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC).

xplain based on the use artificial intelligence make a real difference in the education sector and help more than 2 million Peruvian students.

They also create free online resources, such as the US University Application Guide, which will help the more than 150,000 Peruvian students who apply to these institutions every year.

Idea xplain It arose from the experience of the project leaders themselves, who strive to give the same opportunities that they had to more students.

They currently focus on helping IB students and advising on US university scholarships, and will expand to any type of private study and entrance exam preparation in a few months.
