The first center in Ukraine for the preparation of civilians for national resistance will be created in the Transcarpathian region. It will begin operating as a community facility with a permanent staff of veteran instructors. This was said by the head of Transcarpathian OVA Viktor Mikita on his Telegram channel.
“The first in Ukraine Center for preparing the population for the national resistance will be created in Transcarpathia, which will continue to work. The battle showed that a well-trained local civilian population can stop the advance of even professionals that enemy troops using experience. , skills, practical skills and knowledge of the area. this will be the basis for the work of the new cell,” he said.
The center will actually be a community institution with a permanent staff of instructors who will ensure the development and implementation of the curriculum in all six districts of Transcarpathia. To this end, special training classes will be created using the appropriate material and technical base and methodological support.
According to the head of the OVA, “the instructors will be war veterans, patriots, ex-servicemen with real combat experience.” He also noted that the courses are available to anyone who wants to be prepared to defend themselves.
