whatsapp is working on a feature to create groups with an expiration date that serve only for certain events so that they do not take up more space in your memory.
Tool has been found WaBetaInformation and is called as “Expiring Groups” and hopes to reach all users soon.
Here’s how the tool works
According to the images shown on the trusted page, users will be able to create groups as usual, but then they can go to settings to set an expiration date for them.
Options range from days, weeks, or a specific date. This option can be turned off at any time if you ultimately prefer to leave the chat untouched.
The funny thing is, you can also make the expiration date only apply to the person who sets it, so that the group can continue to exist for others, but without your participation in it.

no date yet
The introduction of this feature is expected to provide a good solution to a common problem where groups become messy and irrelevant over time.
In addition, it provides users with a good storage tool to save space by managing groups over time, especially for those groups created temporarily for one-time events such as a birthday party.
Ability to choose the expiration date of your groups whatsapp is under development and will be released in a future app update
