Huawei continues to bet on staying active in mobile telephony, a market in which it was the protagonist until 2020 and the effects of the blockade imposed by the government of former President Donald Trump. In 2021, the Chinese firm announced the P50 Pro with EMUI and the last member of the P range to collaborate photography with Leica with delays and was able to “save” their calendar with late Mate 50 for 2022. Now there are rumors about a new P60 and it looks like we will have it.
A post on the Weibo social network contains data on the appearance of the P60 series, and some details are obvious. Let’s start with the fact that Huawei managed to get among the brands that get access to the new processor Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, albeit with communication restrictions due to US trade restrictions. This leaves us with generation 2 with 4G connectivity.

Huawei prepares P60 with accessories
In addition to the P60 series, Huawei is preparing a new generation of peripherals. The Weibo post mentions that along with the smartphones of this generation and the Mate X3, FreeBuds 5 – the standard version above 5i – Watch 4 with Harmony OS and Huawei Band B7 will be announced.
The publication indicates that there is no more news about the Huawei Band 8, the new tablet 11, the Pro + FreeBuds version, or the possibility that the Chinese firm will introduce headphones with a heart rate meter.
Huawei P60: release date
In particular, rumors point to the presentation of this Huawei 2023 catalog on March 23, with an event aimed at the Chinese market. In addition to these announcements, a presentation of HarmonyOS 3.1 or HongMeng for China is expected with news of connectivity issues.
