Steve Wozniakco-founder Mansana lashed out at Elon Musk, calling him “dishonest” and for trying to be a “cult leader.”
In conversations with CNBCWozniak assured that Musk is very similar to Steve Jobs when trying to convince people to believe in their products, but with notable differences.
cult leaders
“I classify them as communicators because they also want to be seen as the most important person and like a cult leader,” says Wozniak, who, in turn, puts Tesla mogul down a notch. “Many people will follow them no matter what they say.”
Wozniak himself has also compared himself to Musk, making a complete distinction: honesty.
“My life was based on absolute honesty. Everything you say is completely honest. You are not hiding anything. You are not imagining anything. You are not making yourself better. And much of that honesty disappears when you look at Elon Musk and Tesla,” he adds.
Wozniak also noted in 2018 that he “doesn’t believe anything that Elon Musk or Tesla say” after images in which the company showed its cars in near-automatic driving.
“I got robbed”
Steve Wozniak guaranteed that Elon Musk and Tesla stole money from his family” after they bought the brand’s car in 2016, believing their division would eventually drive across the country, as Musk had promised all his customers.
