Hogwarts Legacy officially launches for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X on February 10th
Starting this Tuesday, the 7th, players who purchased the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, a new game inspired by the Harry Potter universe, will be able to start their journey into the magical world in advance, as the official launch of the title takes place only next Friday, 10.
Developed by Avalanche studio and published by Warner Bros. Games, “Hogwarts Legacy” is an open-world RPG set in the 1800s, where the player will take on the role of a student at Hogwarts. He will be able to take potions classes, learn to master the use of spells and figure out how to deal with magical creatures.
The user will also be able to get involved in an investigation and unravel the mysteries of ancient magic. But, with so much to do within the game, after all, how long will it take to complete the game?
Long hours of gameplay
First of all, it is important to remember that, as it is an open world game, the time to finish the game may vary from player to player, taking into account the player’s actions and the secondary missions carried out to finish the story.
However, according to an analysis carried out by the Eurogamer website, the user will take, on average, 30 hours to complete the entire plot of “Hogwarts Legacy”, with the time being able to increase or decrease according to the player’s attitudes. According to the title’s developers, if fans want to explore everything available, gameplay can easily exceed 100 hours played.
Despite only being available to those who gained early access with a purchase of the Deluxe Edition, “Hogwarts Legacy” has already achieved high marks on Metacritic, with an overall average of 83.
The official launch of the game for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X is set to take place on February 10th. Meanwhile, the game arrives for the PlayStation 4 only on April 4, and for the Nintendo Switch on July 25.
