There was a great deal of controversy about Susan Michen novelist who, as she herself revealed these days, faked her own death for two years and recently reappeared in social media.
Michen “came back to life” this week, announcing that she really “was never dead” so now she wants her life back the way it was before. But what happened?
A Case That Doesn’t End Conclusively
It all happened in a Tennessee book group. Michen founded Ward in facebookwhere dozens of people shared their creations and met to follow their passion. She is the author of dozens of books such as His evil way D My love.
But that all changed in September 2020 when his alleged daughter shared a post on the group, noting that “Michen committed suicide due to bullying and harassment from members of the book community.”
The case caused even more chaos. The author’s admirers persecuted other romantic little writers and accused them of “murdering” Michen. His friends raised money for his funeral. They worked for free to edit one of his previously unpublished works for publication to fulfill what was described as Michen’s dying wish: the release of a final book before his daughter’s wedding.
His daughter continued to share the news in the group, but all of a sudden she “came back to life.”
I’m alive
Tuesday on account facebook from Susan Michen came back and posted.
“I’ve discussed how to do this a million times and I’m still not sure if it’s the right thing to do or not. I guess there will be a lot of questions and a lot of people will leave the group. But my family did what they thought was best for me, and I can’t blame them for that. I almost died again by my own hand, and they had to go through all this hell again. Come back Ward It doesn’t really matter, but I’m in good shape now and looking forward to writing again. Let the party begin,” the writer wrote.
The news, of course, did not sit well with the group, which was heavily divided.
“Susan Michen fake your own suicide and then happily surf the internet again because you’re “sick” is exquisite madness,” author Gretchen Völker-Martin tweeted. “Novel writers really operate on a different plane of reality.”
“What sane person fakes his own death for TWO years, and then accidentally gets into facebook once and just says, “Hey guys, I’m back!” writes another user.
At the moment, trust has been undermined, and the author will face a new task: to convince her loyal followers that her actions were not malicious.
