American Trey Cunningham, 23, improved his best performance of the season in the 110m hurdles at 13 seconds in the NCAA Final Friday through Saturday in Eugene, Oregon.
Cunningham lowered its best record of the season by 7/100, who ran 13.07 in late May in the United States in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Eugene Racecourse, where future Olympic champion Grant Holloway ran for 12.81 hours in late June 2021, which is 1/100 of the world record, will host the World Athletics Championships this summer from July 15 to 24.
Cunningham overcame the barrier in 13 seconds, which only 22 athletes in history have managed to overcome, and Aries Merit set a world record in 12.80 minutes in September 2012 in Brussels.
